Utility pumps are portable, contractor type, pumps that are used for removing water from areas other than sump pump basins. These pumps can be placed in a ditch, for example. They will discharge the water from the ditch whether the pump is sitting up or lying on its side. They can run dry for an extended period of time without damage. Utility pumps are built to withstand these difficult applications.
High-Temp pumps are designed to handle liquids up to 200 degrees Fahrenheit.
