We recently received a call from a gentleman regarding replacing a JMI sump pump that had been installed in 2004. While the pump is still working, the float switch is starting to fail as it sticks from time to time and does not turn on pump. JMI staff explained the various replacement options available, recommending different pumps based on his current pump and his skill level in terms of installing the new pump. He was very impressed with the longevity of his JMI pump as well as with the knowledgeable JMI staff.

Received a call from Ed P. (Menomonee Falls Area) regarding replacing a Jim Murray PJM-AVS sump pump that had been installed in his Trust Way Built home 20 years ago. The pump has “rusted out” – his words. I advised him that JMI recommends that sump pumps be replaced every 6-8 years, so definitely time to replace it. I gave him several options for replacements, basing each on his skill level. He also was interested in replacing the existing basin cover as well. After speaking with him briefly, he told me that he was on his way to Home Depot to purchase a pump there. He instead, was going to go back home to verify the size of the cover he needed and would then be heading to JMI to purchase a pump and possibly a basin cover, stating that he would rather get a similar pump from JMI rather than something unproven from Home Depot.

Your new driver Nick found me at my home to ensure the delivery was left in the desired spot. My first impression of Nick was stellar. His attitude and effort to be thorough and of service was noticeable.
I had placed the order on a Thursday morning before regular business hours (6:15 a.m.), with delivery promise of “on or before Monday.” I was very happy when the order was delivered the same day it was placed.

“I just replaced my pedestal sump pumps (I had two in case one failed) with submersible pumps and I noticed a tag on the primary pump. It was from your company with a date of install of October 3, 1980. I believe I may have had it set as the backup for a while but still, 40 years old and still working is impressive.
